Delete your Gridyssey account

You can delete your account here even if you no longer have the app installed. You must sign in and confirm your current password. Opening this page or starting a request does not delete anything.

In the app, use Settings → Account & password → Delete account. Both routes require a second confirmation. Deleting the app itself does not delete your account.

What deletion means

The processed deletion workflow removes or de-identifies your ordinary profile, visits and their private coordinates, photographs, posts/comments, Friend and Following relationships, Planned Places, Home territory, push registrations, active sessions and account-scoped app records. Your public share links stop working. A de-identified database anchor can remain to keep necessary records consistent; it is not a visible or usable account.

Restricted rejected-media evidence, reduced enforcement/deletion/audit references, active safety or legal-case material and separately hosted correspondence may remain where necessary for safety, accountability, legal duties or claims. Backup copies may remain after live deletion until the relevant backup is replaced or erased. Routine age-based cleanup is not automatically scheduled in this beta, so we do not promise that every retained record disappears after a fixed number of days. Deletion cannot recall screenshots, downloads or other copies people already made while content was visible.

Unsynced visits or photographs stored only on a device are not held by the server. Delete local app data on that device separately if needed.

If you cannot sign in, contact privacy@gridyssey.app to make a verified rights request. An email alone will not trigger deletion without ownership checks.
